Violent confrontations west of al-Dale and government forces drop a drone  in Murais


Fierce confrontations erupted Sunday between government forces and the Houthi militia in several locations of the Hamk front west of al-Dale province, after the Houthis pushed military reinforcements into the area.

The militias attacked the sites of Dhofar, Al-Abilateen, Hamdi Hill, Mankhala and Yabar, and managed to control several sites before government forces could regain them later, according to field sources.

The sources reported the destruction of two militias ' military vehicles in Naqeel al-Haqr, below Jabal Al-Soor, the killing of eight gunmen and the destruction of a 23-caliber submachine gun, as well as the killing of gunmen while trying to attack Al-mdaraib Hill in Dhofar.

Six government troops were killed as they responded to the attack, one woman, Naseera Sadiq, and her husband were killed and another woman was shot by the Houthis after a number of their members infiltrated Dhofar village and stormed the family home.

On the one hand, government forces were able to shoot down the Houthi militia drone in the Al-Al-Arvav area of the Marais front.

This is the fourth time that government forces have been able to shoot down a drone of the Houthis on the fronts west of al-Dale province.

In the Al-Oud front, government forces artillery targeted groups of Houthis who had established positions in Jabal Bardan, which overlooks the village of al-Shoa’bah, in Al-Oud area, administratively affiliated to Al-Nadera district, east of Ibb Governorate.
